It is the sole responsibility of the user to use raspAIS prudently. The raspAIS does not relieve you of your duty of care!

To avoid malfunction or damage to this product, please note the following:

• Do not expose the product to water or moisture during operation and do not place it on a conductive surface.
• Do not expose it to heat; Raspberry Pi 5 is designed for reliable operation at normal ambient temperatures.
• Store it in a cool, dry place.
• Handle carefully to avoid mechanical or electrical damage to the circuit board and connectors.
• Avoid handling the circuit board while it is powered on, or handle it only by its edges to minimize the risk of damage from electrostatic discharge.

WARNINGS

• This product should be operated in a well-ventilated environment. If used in an enclosure, the enclosure should not be covered.
• During use, this product should be securely secured or placed on a stable, flat, non-conductive surface and should not come into contact with conductive objects.
• Connecting incompatible devices to the Raspberry Pi 5 may compromise compliance, cause damage to the device, and void the warranty.
• All peripheral devices used with this product should comply with the relevant standards of the country of use and be appropriately labeled to ensure that safety and performance requirements are met.

RASPBERRY PI

This product bears the CE marking and meets the requirements of EU Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) and all relevant standards, as well as the applicable standards for AIS receiving equipment (ITU-R M.1371-5). The device complies with the applicable safety requirements and is protected against unauthorized access.

• Data protection: The device does not collect any personal data. It receives AIS signals from the immediate vicinity.
  • Interface security: Data transmission takes place via encrypted WiFi in accordance with EN 18031 (RED).
  • Update management: There are no automatic updates. End users can perform software and firmware updates manually or have them carried out by the manufacturer or certified service partners.
• Protection against manipulation: The device only sends information and does not receive any data, especially not from the internet, in order to prevent unauthorized manipulation or remote access.
