  • Keep the rescue transmitter out of reach of children!
  • Incorrectly triggering the rescue transmitter is not a minor offense and can result in subsequent costs!
  • The rescue transmitter uses lithium batteries, which may only be replaced by an authorized dealer. Replacing the batteries yourself may damage the device if the battery type is incorrect.
  • If the rescue transmitter is used at temperatures below -20°C or above 55°C, the battery capacity will decrease. Keep the rescue transmitter away from heat. Failure to do so could cause the batteries in the rescue transmitter to overheat, explode, or catch fire, causing damage to the device.
  • The battery capacity is 10 years. As a SOLAS requirement, the battery pack must be replaced after five years, and the rescue transmitter must be returned to the dealer for service. After an emergency deployment, the rescue transmitter must be inspected by the manufacturer.
  • The powerful internal FM transmitter may impair the function of medical devices such as pacemakers. Please maintain a minimum distance of > 0.3 m!

  • The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage or failure caused by this manual or the deletion of data due to malfunctions, a broken battery pack or improper use of the product.
  • Use only supported and approved accessories. Unapproved, modified, or altered accessories may damage the rescue transmitter, violate legal regulations, or interfere with radio-controlled devices.
  • To clean the rescue transmitter, use a clean, dry, and soft cloth. Do not use alcohol, liquid solvents, chemicals, or harsh cleaning agents.
  • Do not attempt to open the device yourself. Unauthorized or forced opening may damage the device and void the warranty.

This product bears the CE marking and meets the requirements of the EU directives Marine Equipment Directive 2014/90/EU and Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU, as well as the applicable standards for AIS transmitting equipment (IEC 61097-14). The device complies with the applicable safety requirements and is protected against unauthorized access.

  • Data protection: The device does not collect any personal data. It only transmits AIS/DSC messages, including GPS position, in accordance with ITU-R M.1371-5 after activation in an emergency.
  • Interface security: The MMSI numbers are programmed via a secure Bluetooth connection using an app exclusively in programming mode. The interface is deactivated during operation to prevent unauthorized manipulation or remote access.
  • Update management: There are no automatic updates or updates performed by the end user. Updates are only possible through the manufacturer or certified service partners.
