• Keep the rescue transmitter out of the reach of children!
• Incorrectly triggering the rescue transmitter is not a minor offense and can result in subsequent costs!
• The rescue transmitter uses lithium batteries, which may only be replaced by an authorized dealer. If you replace the batteries yourself, the device may be damaged if you use the wrong type of battery.
• If the rescue transmitter is used at a temperature below -20 °C or above 55 °C, the battery capacity will decrease. Keep the rescue transmitter away from heat. If you ignore this, the batteries in the rescue transmitter may overheat, explode or burn and cause damage to the device.
• The battery capacity is 10 years. As a SOLAS requirement, the battery set must be changed after 5 years and the rescue transmitter must be returned to the dealer for service. After an emergency use, the rescue transmitter must be checked by the manufacturer.
• The internal, powerful VHF transmitter may impair the function of medical devices such as pacemakers. Please observe a minimum distance of > 0.3 m!

• The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or failures caused by these instructions or the deletion of data due to malfunctions, a broken battery pack or improper use of the product.
• Only use supported and approved accessories. Unapproved, modified or converted accessories can damage the rescue transmitter, violate legal regulations or affect radio-controlled devices.
• Use a clean, dry and soft cloth to clean the rescue transmitter. Do not use spirit, liquid solvents, chemicals or strong cleaning agents.
• Do not attempt to open the device yourself. Unauthorized or violent opening can destroy the device and the warranty claim will be void.
