The ME SENSE Motion detector expands your ME SENSE system with reliable monitoring of onboard activity. The sensor detects movements within its defined detection range and notifies you via your smartphone. This way, you’ll quickly know if something unexpected moves on your boat – whether it’s in port, in winter storage, or during an extended absence.
Increased safety through smart sensor technology
The ME SENSE Motion is an energy-efficient, wireless motion detector for integration into the ME SENSE IoT system. It communicates with your ME SENSE control unit (ME SENSE Relay or easyTRX3S) via Bluetooth® and transmits events directly to the ME SENSE app.
Movements can be triggered as an alarm or used for status monitoring – ideal for securing cabins, companionways or technical rooms.

This product bears the CE marking and meets the requirements of EU Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30 regarding cybersecurity (Article 3.3 d–f). This ensures maximum operational safety and legal compliance. The system meets the applicable safety requirements and is protected against unauthorized access.
- Data Protection: No personal data is collected. Data transmission is limited exclusively to technical boat information such as battery status, bilge water level, temperature, and motion alerts. When the GPS function is activated, the boat’s current position is transmitted to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) server located in Frankfurt, Germany. The manufacturer has access to this location data for system analysis and support purposes. Data processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
- Interface security: Data transmission between sensors, central unit and the internet takes place via secure, encrypted interfaces (e.g., TLS/HTTPS), in accordance with the requirements of the ETSI EN 303 645 standard.
- Update management: Software updates are provided automatically and wirelessly by the manufacturer via a secure internet connection with encrypted WiFi/LAN in accordance with EN 18031 (RED) and ETSI EN 303 645. However, installation only takes place after explicit consent from the user.
- Internal storage: Sensor data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers at the Frankfurt data center.
