The W2K-1 transmits data from a NMEA 2000 backbone to any device (e.g. laptop, tablet or smartphone) connected to it via Wi-Fi.
It features built-in NMEA 2000 message conversion to NMEA 0183 data. This allows a wide variety of vessel data (e.g., position, speed, course, wind speed, depth, engine data, AIS messages, etc.) to be shared with NMEA 0183-compatible software applications on connected devices.
All received data (or a selected part) can be saved on the internal micro SD card and downloaded later for trip analysis.
This is very useful for analyzing race data, creating logbooks, diagnosing problems, or even sharing trip details.
The pre-installed, industrial-grade micro SD card can store approximately 16 days of data. The storage capacity can be expanded if necessary.
The W2K-1 features Actisense’s legendary “Reliability Built In” along with useful diagnostic LEDs, an internal antenna, enhanced password security, full certification, and all packaged in an extremely robust IP67 enclosure.
